VANS | Black History Month – Henshaw Black Skate Club

Commercial Spot & Mini Doc | February 2025

For Black History Month 2025, I partnered with VANS to direct and shoot a short film and mini-documentary spotlighting the Henshaw Black Skate Club and influential voices like Beatrice Dumont. This project dove into the intersection of identity, community, and creativity through the lens of Black skateboarding culture.

The piece blends powerful conversation with immersive skate visuals—capturing both the artistry and the lived experience of Black skaters. It’s a visual tribute to the resilience, history, and vibrant future of Black voices in skateboarding.
